Jared John Schroeder, 2 month old son of Daniel and Julia Schroeder of Granville died unexpectedly Saturday, March 31, 1990, in the Orange City Municipal Hospital. Services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville with the Rev. Robert W. Gralapp officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the direction of Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen.

Jared was born Jan. 30, 1990, at Orange City. Survivors include his parents; three sisters, Jacquie, Angela and Susie, all at home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Vernon (Esther) Bunkers of Remsen; paternal grandparents, Lyle and Phyllis Schroeder of Granville; and paternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Florence Schroeder of Le Mars. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Vernon Bunkers.
