Douglas Schuerkamp, 22, of Hawarden died Wednesday, November 30, at his home in Hawarden.
Services were at Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday, with burial at Grace Hill Cemetery.

Schuerkamp was born July 14, 1966, in Primghar and made his home in Hawarden. He graduated from
West Sioux High School in 1984 and attended Morningside College one year. He was employed by Iowa Lamb Corporation in Hawarden.

Survivors include his mother, Sherry Schuerkamp, of Hawarden; his, father, Fred Schuerkamp, of
Paullina; two brothers, Jim or Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Greg of Hawarden; and grandmothers Ella Schuerkamp and Ivadell Niebuhr,both of Paullina.
