Mrs. Eldon Ericson Mrs. Eldon Ericson, 82, Hawarden, died Thursday, Apr. 24 in Hillcrest Care Center at Hawarden. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the United Methodist Church at Hawarden. The Rev. Marion Bloodworth officiated. Burial was in Gr-ace Hill Cemetery under direction of the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden.

Mrs. Ericson, the former Margaret Hodoway, was born Oct. 24, 1897, at Hawarden and she was a lifelong Hawarden resident. She was married Nov.17, 1917, at Dakota City, Neb. Mr. Ericson died Jan. 23, 1972. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and was active in the women's organizations of the church. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Bruce of Hawarden; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Yvonne) Reaves of Overland Park, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Sharar of Lakeland, Fla., and Mrs. G.D.N. (Jeanette) Gilfillan of Claremont, Calif.; a brother, Richard of Rolfe; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
