Albert Anderson, one of the pioneers of Lincoln county, passed away at his home Saturday, January 7th, following a lingering illness. He was a sufferer from rheumatism and for the past three or four years he had been confined to his bed.

Albert Anderson was born in Eden township, Lincoln county, Dakota, January 7, 1872, and is said to have been the first white child born in Eden township. He spent his entire life on the farm which his parents homesteaded when they settled in Lincoln county. He is survived by his widow and three children; Pleny, Edna, and Pearl. He also leaves four sisters; Mrs. C.A. Robinson of Hudson, Mrs. Annie Earle of Burke, South Dakota, Mrs. Edith Marshall of Huron, South Dakota, and Mrs. Mary Fowler of Faith, South Dakota; and two brothers, Matt and Milo Anderson of Hudson.

Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church at Hudson on Tuesday of last week with Rev. G.O. Gronseth in charge.
