Mrs. Bert (Winnie) VanDenBerg, 90, of Rock Valley died Saturday, March 15, at the Rock Valley Hospital after a brief illness. Services were at. 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Reformed Church, Rock Valley, with the Rev. Roger Bultman officiating. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley.

Mrs. VanDenBerg, the former Winnie Hubers, was born Dec. 29, 1889, in the Netherlands. She came to the United States as a child. She married Bert VanDenBerg in Det., 1906, at Sioux Center. They moved to Rock Valley in 1927. He died Sept. 22, 1967.

She is survived by two sons, Gerrit of Applington, Iowa, and Darrell of Rock Valley; five daughters, Mrs. George (Celia) VandeKamp of Orange City, Mrs. August (Gertrude) DeRuyter, Mrs. Dave (Johanna) Altena and Mrs. Reuben (Bernice) DeGroot, all of Rock Valley, and Mrs. Dick (Winifred) Altena of Ireton; 33 grandchildren; 66 greatgrandchildren and 12 great-greatgrandchildren.
