Mrs. Leland Blomberg Sr,, 88, of Hawarden, died Wednesday, Jan. 23 in a Sioux City hospital. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Hawarden. The Rev. Arthur De Neui officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden.

Mrs. Blomberg, the former Agnes Ericson, was born Feb. 13, 1891, in Big Springs Township, Union County, S.D. She lived in Virginia Township, southwest of Hawarden as a child and spent some time in Minnesota.

She was married April 2, 1917, in Princeton, Minn. The couple lived in Hawarden for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active in its women's society.

Survivors include the widower; one son, Leland Jr. of Hawarden; four grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren ; one brother, Elvie of Redding, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Jensen of Doylstown, Pa. and Mrs; Edith Torell of Princeton
