Mrs. Lynn (Letha) Booth, 70, of Mesa, Ariz, and formerly of Hawarden died at a Phoenix, Ariz, hospital of injuries she received in a car accident Jan. 2 at Mesa. The body was cremated at Phoenix. Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31 at the Dow Funeral Home, Hawarden, with the Rev. Marion Bloodworth officiating.
Mrs. Booth, the former Letha Waterbury was born Jan. 10,1909, in Akron, Iowa. She graduated from Akron. High School and attended Morningside College in Sioux City. She taught school in Plymouth County. She married Lynn Booth June 12; 1931, in Sioux City. They moved to Hawarden in 1946. They operated Booth Drug, formerly Field Drug Store, from 1946 to 1970 when they retired to Bella Vista Ark. They resided at Mesa during the winter months. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include the widower; two sons, Lanny, of Denver, Colo., and Barry, of San Francisco, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Erma) Hummel of Hawarden; and one brother, R.E Bud Waterbury of Akron
