Mrs. Paul H. Scott, 67, Hudson, died Wednesday, Jan. 16 at her home. Services were at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church at Hawarden, Iowa. The Rev. William Carel officiate. Burial was in Eden Cemetery at Hudson. There was a scripture service at 8 p.m. Sunday in the VanDeMore Funeral Home.

Mrs. Scott, the former Clayre V. VanDeMore, was born Dec. 29, 1912, in Sioux County, Iowa. She was married Feb. 4,1933, at Elk Point, S.D. The couple lived on farms in the Hawarden area until 1956 when they moved to Hudson. She was a teacher in the Hudson School system until 1974.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Charles of Hudson and John of Guam; two daughters, Mrs. Dale Thorpe of Hudson and Mrs. Lauren Toft of Oscoda, Mich.; her mother, Mrs. Mayme VanDeMore of Hudson; two brothers, Donald of Hollywood, Calif, and C.J. of Sioux Falls, S.D., and six grandchildren.
