Mrs, Walter Muth, 83, of Hawarden died Monday, Jan. 28 in the Hawarden Hospital. Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday in St.Mary Catholic Church. The Rev, William Carel officiated. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery. The Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday In the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden.

Mrs. Muth, the former Lucille Ney, was. born March 30, 1896. She was married Nov. 23, 1915, at Akron. Mr. Muth died Jan. 17, 1969. They lived southeast, of Hawarden all their married life, moving into Hawarden in 1951. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. R.E. (Lucille Virginette) Moerer of Anaheim, Calif., and Mrs. Richard (Maxine) Denson of Homestead; two sons, Vincent of Hawarden and Walter of Walnut, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Lowell of Hawarden; one brother, Leo of Madison, SD; 11 grand children and four greatgrandchildren.
