John G. Seimers passed away at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Hawarden hospital following a long illness of heart trouble. He had been a patient at the hospital for seven weeks.

Funeral services will be held at the Barnard Funeral Home in Hawarden at 1 o'clock this afternoon, with Rev. H.W. Krieger of St. Paul's Lutheran church in charge. Interment will be in Allen, Nebraska.

John G. Seimers was born in Nebraska on February 13, 1888. He was married to Emma Renken of Alcester. To this union were born eight children, one of whom preceded him in death. The children who survive him are Mrs. Irene Metzger, Mrs. Irving Joecks and Mrs. Clarence Wehrman of Sussex, Wis.; William Seimers of Baltic, S.D.; Victor and Richard Seimers of Alcester and Florence Seimers of Sioux City.
