Martha Geraets, 84, of Dell Rapids, S.D., formerly of Alton, died Sunday, September 29, in a nursing home in Dell Rapids. Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dell Rapids. The Rev,. Kenneth Koster officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of the Kahler Funeral Home in Dell Rapids.

Miss Geraets was born May 31, 1901, at Alton where she was raised and educated. In 1920 she moved with her parents to a farm near Dell Rapids. She lived on the farm until 1965 when she moved into Dell Rapids.

Survivors include one brother, Ted, and one sister, Mrs. Matt (Ida) Wolles, both of Dell Rapids.
