Aileen Margaret Marie Boone, 80, Sioux City, formerly of Matlock, died Thursday, Aug. 4 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City.

Services were Tuesday, Aug. 9 at St. John Lutheran Church in rural Boyden, with Pastor Trudy Peterson officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Matlock, under the direction of Bolin Funeral Home in George, Iowa.

Aileen Boone, daughter of Carl and Wilhelmina (Luitjens) Stueven was born Sept. 2, 1924, in rural Matlock.

She lived her youth in Sioux County and attended country school. She was baptized on Sept. 28, 1924, at St. John Lutheran Church in rural Boyden and later confirmed there on April 10, 1938. She married Albert Boone of Matlock on Aug. 7 1961, in Luverne, MN. They lived in George, Matlock and Primghar. She later lived at Hope Haven in Orange City. The last number of years she was a resident of Hallmark Care Center in Sioux City.

Survivors include a brother, Arthur and Lorraine Stueven of George; and a sister; Marian Riemersma of George, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Boone.
