William Boone, 76, of Hull was dead on arrival Saturday Sept. 14 at a hospital in Sioux Center.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 17, in the American Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. Herman Van Galen officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery in Hull. Family visitation was from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home in Hull.

Mr. Boone was born July 19, 1909 at Hospers and moved to Sheldon with his family as a child. He married Irene Pals Sept. 10, 1947. They lived in Matlock until 1951 when they moved to Hull where he was employed by Kooiker Manufacturing as a welder for 11 years. He then worked eight years at K & O Manufacturing in Hull.

Mr. Boone was a member of the American Reformed Church where he and his wife were custodians 1972-1977.

Survivors include his wife; one sister, Mrs. Allie De Bruyn of Sheldon and two brothers, Joe of George and John of Sheldon.
