Sioux Center News, November 4, 1954

Mr. & Mrs. Howard Te Slaa became the parents of a son, Ronald Lee, their first child, born Tuesday of last week at the local hospital. The baby passed away on Wednesday evening and funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at the home of the grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ike Kuipers of Hull. Rev. Jim Boogard of Monroe, SD officiated at the services and burial took place at the Hull cemetery.

Besides the parents, the baby is survived by the grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ike Kuipers of Hull and Mr. & Mrs. Gerrit H. Te Slaa of Orange City. The mother is the former Gertrude Kuipers.
