Sioux Center News, January 9, 1936

John Kenneth Te Slaa, 3 1/2 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. Gerrit John Te Slaa, died Tuesday noon at the Hull hospital. The child had been ill with flu and Sunday was taken to the hospital. Monday he was operated for ruptured appendix.

The child is survived by his parents and a baby brother.

John Kenneth was a great grandson of Mrs. G. Te Slaa of Hull. She also mourns the loss of her daughter Mrs. H. Miersma.

Funeral services will be held Fri., at the Ref. Church of Hull. Rev. Douwstra will be in charge.
