Mrs. Vernon (Grace) Thill, 60, of Remsen died Saturday in a Sioux City hospital.

Services were at 10 a.m., Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Remsen. The Rev. Richard Birdsall officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Thill, the former Grace Oberman was born Sept. 3, 1921 at Granville. She graduated from St. Mary's High School at Alton. She was married November, 1946 in Granville. The couple farmed in the Remsen area. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Myron (Romalee) Nelson of Sloan; Mrs. Randolph (Dana) Slack of Omaha, and Mrs. Tom (Nina) Bedel of Omaha; two sons, Peter of Sioux City and Steve of Remsen; her mother, Mrs. Alvis (Grace) Oberman of Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. Dick (Lavonne) Singer of Hawthorne, CA; Mrs. Doyle (Darlene) Stanton of Mankato, MN, and Mrs. Charles (Audrey) Wendling of Worthington, MN and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Alvis and one son, David.
