Tony Boone, 82, Hospers, died Tuesday after suffering a heart attack at his home. Services were held Friday in the First Reformed Church, the Rev. Henry J. Vermeer officiating. The Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home made arrangements. He was interred in Hospers Cemetery.

He was born April 7, 1895, in Sheldon, Iowa; married Anne Brink in 1921; was a World War I Veteran; was employed as a carpenter for many years,and worked as a janitor at the church for 17 years.

Survivors include the widow, a son, Eldon, of Hospers Mrs. Nick Brink of Brooten, Minn.; a brother, Andrew of Sheldon; two grandchildren and a great-grandson.
