Orange City - Joel David Koedam, 13-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Koedam of Orange City, died last Wednesday at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. The infant had been ill since birth. Services were at 10 a.m. last Saturday in the First Christian Reformed Church at Orange City. The Rev. Menno Jorritsma officiated. Burial was in the cemetery at Carmel under direction of the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.

Joel David was born April 28, 1977, at Sioux Center. Survivors besides the parents include a brother, Robert, at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. August Ykema of Allendale, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. Albertus Koedam of Jasper, Minn., and his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Koedam of Leota, Minn., Mrs. William Sandbulte and Mrs. Henry Ykema, both of Rock Valley, and Mrs. Abe Haak of Hills, Minn.
