Andrew M. Koedam, 72, died March 26 at 1iis residence, of an apparent heart attack. Services were held on March 29 in the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Paul E. Bakker officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery under the direction of the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Koedam was born May 17, 1903, in Sioux County. He married Tracy Van Otterloo on March 13. 1936 in Rock Valley. The couple farmed in the Rock Valley area until 1959 when they retired and moved to town.

Survivors include the widow; two brothers, Jim and Jack, both of Rock Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Sam Van Kekerix and Mrs. William Van Ginkel, both of Rock Valley, and four grandchildren.
