JOHN KROESE
John Kroese, 76, Hull, died June 29 at a Sioux Center hospital after a short illness. Services were held July 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church, with the Rev. John Fondse officiating. Burial in Hope Cemetery was under the direction of the Kraal Funeral Home.

Mr. Kroese was born June 3, 1898 in Hull and lived in the area all of his life. He married Helen Kooiker on Feb. 14, 1924, at Middleburg. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include the widow; five daughters: Mrs. Hilda Mouw, Mrs. John (Julianna) Kats and Mrs. Harold (Joyce) De Vries, all of Hull, Mrs. Alfred Hoogland of Orange City and Mrs. Melvin (Wilmina) Schuiteman of Siox Center; 28 grand children and great grandchildren; two brothers, Peter and Charles, Jr.,both of Hull, and five sisters: Mrs. John Van Otterloo, Miss Nell Kroese, Mrs. Evelyn Marra and Mrs. Joe (Min) Miersma, all of Hull, and Mrs. Louis (Ann) Wielenga of Orange City.
