Mrs. Walter Vander Wilt passed away at her home near Middleburg on Saturday evening, Jan. 2, 1943 following an illness of several months due to diabetes and heart complications. She had reached the age of 59 years.

Funeral services were held for her on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 6, 1943 at the First Reformed Church at Middleburg with the Rev. H. Kolenbrander officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Mansen of Orange City.

Left to mourn her departure are the husband Mr. Walter Vander Wilt and three sons, Amos of Sioux Center; Tony W. of Middleburg and Albert of Milford and one daughter Mrs. Jerry Dykstra of Sioux Center. Also nine grandchildren and two brothers Albert Slothouber of Orange City and Gerrit Slothouber of Boyden.
