Cornelius Kleyweg, 91, of , Sibley formerly; of Sioux Center died Saturday in a nursing home in Sibley. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in Sioux Center. The Rev. A.M. Den Boer officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery, visitation was from 7 to 8:30 p .m in the funeral home.

Mr. Kleyweg was born Dec. 16, 1892, in the Netherlands. He was a World War I veteran. He married Elizabeth Krommenhoek Nov. 25, 1925, at Sioux City. He lived in Sioux City from 1915 to 1965. The couple moved to Sioux Center in 1965 and to Sibley in 1976. She died Sept. 6, 1978.

Survivors include four sons, Henry of Milwaukee, Wis., Neal of St. Paul, Minn., Nick of Sioux City and Martin of Chicago; two daughters , Mrs. Konrad (Barbara) Kaaltenbach of Springfield, Ohio and Mrs. Robert (Cornelia) Jassey of Sibley; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
