Arthur John Vander Wilt, 26, Hospers, died in a Sioux City hospital on Thurs. morning a victim of poliomyelitis, according to hospital reports.

Mr. Vander Wilt was born September 8, 1920, in Orange City, IA, and was a farmer at Hospers. He is survived by his widow, Angeline, and two children. Mrs. Vander Wilt is a daughter of Henry Heemstra of Sheldon.

Burial and services will be at Orange City.

The death raised to six the number from infantile paralysis in this area this year.
