Sioux Center News, December 7, 1983

Edmund Storer passed away early Sunday morning in Sioux Center at the age of 66 years. On April 8, 1978, in Sioux Center, he was united in marriage to Ida Mulder, who now survives. He is also survived by two children: Mary, Mrs. Doran Olson of Palmer, Alaska; and Charles Storer of Bishop, California. Six grandchildren also survive.

Ed worked as an aeronautical engineer and graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree and from New York University with a Master's Degree. He had worked for the Martin Marietta Corporation in Long Island, New York and later in California in other aviation industries before coming to Sioux Center in 1978.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday in the Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Dennis Wilcox officiated. Burial was in the Memory Garden Cemetery in Sioux Center under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

A visitation was held on Monday between 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Storer was born on Dec. 27, 1916, at Trenton, N.J.
