Steven Lee Landau, 61, of Balitmore, Maryland, died unexpectedly Friday, March 29, 2013, at his home.

Steven Lee Landau was born Oct. 21, 1951, in Hawarden, to Dr. Bert and Doris Landau. He attended West Sioux High School. In 1969, he enlisted in the Untied States Army. He served in Germany, Vietnam and Maryland over a three-year period. Upon discharge, he settled in Baltimore and began working for Baltimore Gas and Electric Company where he continued to work up until the time of his death.

Steve married Vera Comes on October 4, 2010.

Survivors include his wife; children, Karl, Steven Jr., Melissa and her fiance', Gordon Powlus; one grandson, Bentlee Powlus; five brothers, Dr. Greg (Deb) Landau, Scottsdale, AZ., Gary (Mary) Landau, De Witt, IA, Jim (Candee) Landau, Maurice, Bill (Peggy) Landau, Bay City, OR. and Jeff (Carrie) Landau, Tucson, AZ.; and an uncle, Jack Landau, Newark, DE.
