Peter J. Van Wyhe, 84, of Ireton, died Saturday in the Rock Valley Hospital.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Christian Reformed Church in Ireton. The Rev. Robert Schwander officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of the Dow Funeral Home in Ireton.

Mr. Van Wyhe was born December 17, 1899, in Orange City. He married Helen Ganzeveld January 29, 1929 in Orange City. They farmed in the Ireton area, moving into town in August of 1965.

He was a member of the Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Milton (Judy) Bauer, of Kingsley and Mrs Jerry (Jeanine) Myer of Alta; three sons, Donald and Daniel, both of Ireton and Ralph of Salem, S.D.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
