Albert Louis Kooiker died September 23, 1002 in Howard, SD. He was born May 18, 1914 at Middleburg IA to Lambert and Gertrude Te Slaa Kooiker and attended rural grade school at Hull.
June 29, 1938 he married Margaret De Jong at Hull. The farmed in Iowa and near Madison SD. For the past 17 years he has lived in Howard SD area.

Survivors include: Margert Kooiker Madison SD, three sons Dean, Earl and Warren, Howard, SD; Two daughters in law, Sally and Candy Kooiker, Madison SD; a son in law James Hauge, Howard SD, seven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great grand children; three brothers, Ralph Okoboji IA; Gerrit Alvord; and Donald, Spirit Lake; one sister Viola (Mrs. Peter) Van Driel of Rock Valley. He was preceded in death by his parents
