Andrew Kool died Friday
Death came after brief Illness from Pneumonia Was 37 Years old and Farmed in This community Several Years Leaves Wife and Four Children Andrew Kool, a resident of the Alcester vicinity, but who formerly lived in this vicinity and was known to many here, died at his home about 2 o'clock last Friday morning following an illness of but nine days from pneumonia.

Funeral services were held at the home at noon Monday and later at the Christian Reformed church in Ireton with Rev. Schipper in charge. Burial was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery in Ireton.

Andrew Kool, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kool of Alton, was born at Parker, S. D., and was but 37 years old at the time of his death. He was united in marriage with Dreka Vander Hoef in Maurice eleven years ago and to this union were born four children. After his marriage he farmed in the vicinity of Ireton and later he moved onto what was formerly the Ed Squier farm, northeast of Hawarden, where he lived for two-or-three years; In the spring of 1936 he moved onto the M. Kelley farm, southwest of Alcester, which was his home at the time of his death.

He leaves his wife and four children, Rena, aged 10, Johanna, ;7, Marvin, 6, and Adrian, 4, to mourn his untimely death. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kool of Alton and three brothers, John of Orange City; James of Alton, and Thomas of George, Iowa; and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret McPherson, who resides in California, and Mrs. Anna Roelofs of Alton.

The death of Mr. Kool in the prime of life is a hard blow to his family for whom he was the mainstay and provider. Sincere sympathy is extended to them in their hour of sorrow.
