Mrs. Albert Kruckenberg, 48, of Hartley, Iowa, died Friday, September 10, in a Sioux City hospital, where she had been a patient three days.

A daughter of Ole and Helena Erickson, Louise was born August 26, 1906, in Hawarden. Later she moved to Canton with her parents where she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She spent most of her life before her marriage in the Mc Nally vicinity.

On February 14, 1934 she was united in marriage with Albert Kruckenberg of Hartley and she had lived there ever since.

Besides the widower, she is survived by two children, Duane and Phyllis, both of Hartley; two sisters Mrs. Minnie Stitz of Lapine, Ore, and Mrs. Anna Adams of Le Mars, IA; two brothers, Henry and Mike Erickson of Hawarden. She was a niece of August and Henry Tragessor of Hawarden. Funeral services and burial were lad Monday Sept 13, at May City IA.. Relatives from Hawarden attended the funeral.
