David Alan Kroon, 26, died March 29, at his home in Hampton from natural causes. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 1, at Zion Reformed Church of rural Sheffield with the Revs. Wayne Van Regenmorter and Rodney Meester officiating. Burial will be In Sioux Center at Memory Gardens Cemetery, at 2;3.0 An additional service will be at 3 p.m. at Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center with the Rev. Dennis Wilcox officiating. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Sletsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton.

Kroon was born February 17, 1967, in Waterloo, to John and Marguerite (Baker) Kroon. He attended Edgerton Public School Special Education in Edgerton, Minnesota, and Hampton Community School Special Education in Hampton. He also attended the Franklin County Work Activity Center. Kroon was a baptized member of Zion Reformed Church.

He is survived by his parents; a brother, Dale Kroon of Clear Lake; and a sister, Linda, of Coralville. He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Lynn.
