Lambert Kooiker, 89, of Hull, died March 17 at Hegg Memorial Hospital. Services were held March 19 at the First Reformed Church of Hull with The Rev. Herman Van Galen officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery of Hull under the direction of Kraai Funeral Home of Hull.

Mr. Kooiker was born December 20, 1890 near Hospers. The couple, farmed in the Hull area until retiring to Hull in 1946. Mrs. Kooiker died in 1966. He was a member of the First Reformed Church and a former city councilman.

Survivors include four sons. Ralph of Lakewood, California, Gerrit and Donald, both of Rock Rapids, and Albert of Howard. South Dakota; a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Viola) Van Driel of Rock Valley; 14 grandchildren: 26 great-grandchildren; a brother. Albert Horling of Tucson, Arizona, and a sister. Mrs. Wynard (Ruth) Noomen of Sibley.
