RALPH J. KOOIKER
Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church at Hull April 3, for Ralph J. Kooiker, 76, longtime resident of Hull, who died suddenly and unexpectedly March 31 followinga heart attack.

Services were conducted by the Rev. David Ter Beest and burial was made in Hope cemetery at Hull. Mr. Kooiker was born July 7,1892, at Hull. Except for three years when the family lived at Murdo, S. D., and for nine years, more recently, at Bellflower, CaL,, he had resided all his life in Hull.

He was married to Jennie Van De Weerd November 27, 1912. To this union eight children were born. Surviving him are his wife, his eight children, Jennie (Mrs. Ed Van DerSloot of Cleghorn), Harriet (Mrs. Jake Van Batavia of Hull). John of Hull, Henry of Bellflower. Arthur of Hull, Edwin of Bellflower. Elmer of Crescent, Iowa, and Maxine (Mrs. Ray Napier of Muskogee, Okla.,)

Also surviving him are 23 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, three brothers, Dr. Herman of Jacksonville, Pete of Rock Valley and Dr. Clarence of Rapld City. S. D.. two sisters Ruth (Mrs. Tom Woody of Palm Springs Calif.), and Kathryn (Mrs. Joe Erickson of Minneapolis).
