Thea Korver, age 37, of Ames, formerly of Orange City, died Thursday, Feb. 18,1993 at her residence in Ames. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 10:00 am. at the Trinity Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Donald De Glopper officiated. Interment followed at West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City under direction of the Van Etten-Oolman-Van Gelder Funeral Home in Orange City.

Thea Gay was born Feb. 20,1955 at Dallas, Tex., the daughter of Clayton Paul and Anita Lee (Thompson) Korver. She was raised in Texas and later attended Northwestern College in Orange City. She had lived in Ames since 1990. She was a member of a Reformed Church in Dallas.

Survivors include her four sons, Christopher Paul Korver of Orange City, Eugene Emmanuel Sanderson of Dallas, Tex., and Eric Michelin and Charles Joseph Korver both of Ames; her parents of Orange City; two brothers, Kelvin Mitchell Korver of Adams, Neb., and Clayton Paul Korver II of Orange City; three nieces and four nephews. Memorials are being directed to the Center for Personal Development in Ames.
