Mrs. William G.T. Korver, 66, of Maurice died Friday at an Orange City Hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Reformed Church of Maurice. The Rev. John Ekema officiated. Burial was in the Sherman Township Cemetery; at Maurice. Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Van Gelder Funeral Home in Orange City;

Mrs. Korver, the former Laura Pluim, was born Sept 1916, at Tracy, Minn. She married William Korver Jan. 22, 1937, at Maurice. The couple moved from Orange City to Maurice in 1946. She was a lifelong resident of Sioux County and a member of the First Reformed Church of Maurice.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary of Charter Oak, and William Gene of Orange City; three daughters; Mrs. James (Gloria) Thorn of Sioux City, Mrs. Dennie (Elaine) Dekker of Sioux Center, 'and Mrs. Donn (Karen) Mulder of Sunnyvale, Calif.; three brothers, Elvin Loanjers of Dubuque, James Vlieger of Maurice and John Vlieger of Belliflower, Calif.; two- sisters Mrs. Howard (Margaret) Hop of Gold Hill, Calif, and Mrs. Wilfred (Ella Mae) Vander Burgt of Hull; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
