Myron Korver 70, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, Services were held at 9 a,m, Wednesday in the First Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Cecil Martens and the Rev, Frank Snuttjer officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home, Orange City.

Mr. Korver was born June 11, 1914, at rural Alton, the son of Martin and Jennie (Mouw) Korver. He married Allie Vander Maten January 18, 1940, at Sheldon. A lifelong area farmer, he retired in 1975 and moved to Orange City in August 1983. He was a member pf the First Reformed Church and a board member of the Farmer's Co-op, Farmers Mutual Co-op Elevator of Alton, and the AMPl.

Survivors include his wife, Allie; five sons, Kenneth. Stanley and Donley, all of Alton, Clifford of Orange City and Rodney of Sheldon; a daughter, Allyn Korver of Everly; eleven grandchildren; two brothers, William of Sioux Center and Simon of Lynden, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Martina) Milenburg and Mrs. Gillis (Myna) Haverdink both of Orange City, He was preceded in death by three brothers.

MYRON KORVER

Myron Korver, 70, of Orange City, died Saturday (Dec. 22, 1984) on a farm near Alton of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the First Reformed Church in Orange City. Rev. Cecil Martens and the Rev. Frank Snuttjer will officiate. Burial will be in the West Lawn Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mr. Korver was born June 11, 1914, at rural Alton. He married Allie VanderMaten Jan. 18, 1940, at Sheldon. A lifelong area farmer, he retired in 1979 and moved to Orange City in August 1983.

Mr. Korver was a member of the First Reformed Church and a board member of the Farmer’s Co-op Oil, Farmers Mutal Co-op Elevator of Alton, and the AMPI.

Survivors are his wife; five sons, Kenneth, Stanley and Donley, all of Alton, Clifford of Orange City and Rodney of Sheldon; a daughter Allyn Korver of Everly; two brothers, William of Sioux Center and Simon of Linden, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Martina) Muilenburg and Mrs. Gillis (Myna) Haverdink, both of Orange City; and 11 grandchildren.
