Marie Wegter, 92, Hull, died Thursday, February 28, at Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull. Services were Monday, March 4, at Oolman Funeral Home in Hull with the Rev. Verlyn Boone officiating. Burial was at Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Marie Wegter, daughter of Ralph and Ella (Groendyke) Brunsting, was born November 27, 1909, in Hull. She was raised in Hull. She was raised in Hull and Sanborn. She married Egbert Wegter on March 3, 1936. They lived in Sanborn a short time and then moved to Hull, where they farmed most of Hull. Mr. Wegter died January 23, 1975, in Hull. She became a resident of Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull in October 1997. She was a member of First Reformed Church in Hull.

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis and Glen Wissink of Ada, Missouri; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Egbert Wegter; two brothers and three sisters, Nellie Vander Vliet, Harriet Van Ommeren, Cornie Brunsting, and Luke Brunsting and Mina Brunsting.
