Sioux Center News 'Dutch' paper of Dec 19, 1962
Translated - John Koster (Kosters) of whose serious sickness we told our readers last wee has passed away, at the age of 48 years and 11 months. The funeral services were held in the Chr. Ref. Church of this place. Koster died Sunday at Doon.

(Found on ancestry.com - John Kosers born Jan 7, 1862 Rijssen Overijssel Netherlands died 15 Dec 1912 Doon Iowa buried Sioux Center IA. First wife was Heintje Marks 1865-1895, she and a child died in the May 1895 tornado that devastated parts of Sioux County Ia. Second wife was Anna Zoomermaand 1878-1962. John was the son of Hendrikus Kosters 1830-1909 and Aaltje Bonninghorst 1834-1880.)
