Mike Foreman, 61, steward at the Pioneer Home at Orange City, became ill last week Wednesday with a light stroke which was followed Friday by a second attack to which he succumbed on Monday morning at 3:45 at the Grossmann Hospital. Surviving are his widow, the former Hattie Reinders and their six children: Jake of Ireton, John of Montevideo, Minnesota, Marcia, Mrs. Bud Aalbers of Alton, Edward of Redlands, California, Betty, Mrs. Neuman De Haas of Silver Springs, Md., and Marvin at home. There are 12 grandchildren.

Surviving also are one sister, Mrs. Jennie Holster of Carnes and one brother, George Foreman of Orange City. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the Pioneer Home and at 2 P.M. in the Second Christian Reformed Church. Interment was made in the local cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Foreman have served as steward and matron of the Pioneer Home for the past 16 months.
