Mr. John Foreman, 65, died Wednesday, May 4, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services were held Saturday, May 7 at 10 A.M. in the Calvary Christian Reformed Church, Orange City. Rev. John T. Ebbers officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home.

Mr. Foreman was born October 14, 1917 at Le Mars. He married Wilma Wiersma on December 14, 1943 at Orange City. He operated Coast to Coast Hardware Store for eleven years. He retired in 1972.

He was a member of Calvary Christian Reformed Church where he served as deacon. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion.

Survivors include; wife, Wilma; three sons, Dr. Robert of Edmond, Oklahoma, Bill and Perry of Orange City; a daughter, Mrs. Vern (Linda) Sybesma of Littleton, Colorado; six grandchildren; two brothers, Edward of Sioux Center and Marvin of Lakewood, California; two sisters, Mrs. Bud (Marsha) Aalbers of Alton and Mrs. Newman (Betty) De Haas of Silver Springs, Md., his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Pier Wiersma of Orange City.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sheila; and a brother, Jake.
