Funeral services for Jacob Mol were held December 26, 1955 at 1:00 at Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Home and at 1:30 at the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center, with Rev. H. Brower officiating. Burial was in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery with Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Services of Sioux Center in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jacob Mol passed away at the Sioux Center Community Hospital Thursday evening following a short illness. Mr. Mol reached the age of 69 years 9 months and 2 days. On February 24, 1916 he was united in marriage to Gertie De Zeeuw and to this union five children were born, Neal of Holland, Michigan; Dorothy, Mrs. Wilbert Vande Berg of Hospers; Ethel, Mrs. Clarence Wiersma of Pipestone; Joan, Mrs. Stanley Johnson of Fort Dodge and John Mol of Sioux Center.

Besides his wife and children, he is survived by 12 grandchildren. One brother Clarence preceded him as well as two sisters, Mrs. Elbert Den Herder and Anne Mol.
