Sandra Den Herder died Friday afternoon near Hampton, Iowa, as a result of injuries suffered in an auto accident. She was returning home from the University of Northern Iowa at Cedar Falls where she was a student. She was nineteen years old.

Sandra was a very active high school student and enjoyed many extra curricular activites. She was a member of the National Honor Society and at college she was a member of Campus Crusade. She was a member of the First Reformed Church.

Sandra is survived by her parents Ron and Janet Den Herder of Sioux Center; one brother Michael at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Den Herder of Sioux Center; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cliffton Scheevel of Greenleafton, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by one sister, Debra, in infancy. Her sudden death is a great loss to all of her family and friends.
