Mrs. Pocklington Dies at Milaca

Mrs. Walter Pocklington of Milaca, Minn., who. for many years lived in Hawarden, died Monday after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Milaca.

Lottie Terrill moved to Calliope with her widowed mother, Mrs. Mary Terrill, from South Dakota as a child.

She married Walter Pocklington and continued to live here until about 25 years ago when they moved to Minnesota.

Besides the widower, she is survived by 12 children.

Poster's note: According to family trees on the web, Lottie Terrell's full name was Laura Charlotte Terrell. She was the daughter of Mary (Chapel) and William R. Terrell. (Spelling is Terrell in the census info but usually Terrill in the Hawarden Independent).
