Jessie Willemstein, 79, of Doon, died Thursday in a Sioux Falls hospital.

Services were held Monday at the First Reformed Church of Doon. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Doon, with Porter Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Jessie Vander Schaaf was born in Sioux Center. Her first husband, a Mr. Flier, preceded her in death. She married Lane Willemstein in 1945 and they made their home in Doon until his death in 1963.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Arlene) Plooper, Witchita Kansas and Marie Klutman, Granville, Michigan; two brothers, Anthony of Calif. and Urban of Weston, Ne; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Gerritsen of Rock Valley and Gertrude Wassenaar of Lakewood, Calif. and four grandchildren.
