Mr. Ed Wier of Hull passed away at the Sacred Heart Hospital at LeMars early Monday morning, Sept. 24, 1945 at the age of 74 years. He was taken to the hospital about 3 weeks ago and was bedfast since last May.

Surviving are his three daughters, Eva and Loretta both of Pocatello Idaho, Mary (Mrs. Fred) Banks of Burbank Calif., and Edard Wier of Hollywood, Calif. His wife preceded him in death some 5 years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Thursday morning, Sept. 27 at the St. Joseph Church in Hull.

Mr. Wier retired last summer after being an active business man serving for many years as undertaker for the Hull community and also served a Justice of the Peace for a long period of time.
