Winifred Woodburn, 86, died Friday, January 11 at Redlands, California. A native of Iowa, she was a 53 year resident of Redlands.
Services were at Redlands with the Rev. Roger Bultman of First Christian Reformed Church officiating. Burial was at Hillside Memorial Park.
Before going to California in 1937, she had worked at Vande Steeg's department store in Orange City. She later worked at Norton Air Force Base in Project "I", an early jet project.
She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Redlands.
Survivors include her husband, Brewster H. Woodburn of Redlands; three daughters, Mary Kint of Banning California, Julia Cable of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bonnie Woodburn of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one son, Captain Steven Woodburn of Midland, Texas; one brother, Elmer Duistermars of Sioux Center; one sister, Marie Wielenga of Redlands and five grand children.
