Wilbur G. Wielenga, 60, of Placentia, Calif., died July 15, 1993 at his home after a long illness.

Services were held July 19 at the McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, Fullerton, Calif. at noon. The Rev. Jack Schutte officiated. Burial was in Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullerton, Calif.

Wilbur was born Jan. 10, 1933 at Orange City, the son of Lou and Johanna (Scholten) Wielenga. He lived his youth in Orange City and graduated from the Orange City schools and Iowa State University at Ames.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; daughters, Leslie of Orange, Calif., Kristin and Laurie Wielenga, both of Placentia, and Lisa Hillis of Corona, Calif.; a son, Michael of Fullerton; three sisters, Kathryn De Boer and Harried Nichols, both of Orange City; and a brother, Leland of Cocoa Beach, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
