Henry Vander Wolde, 81, of Sioux Center, died Saturday at a Sioux Center hospital after a long illness.

Services were held Tuesday in the First Reformed Church. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt officiated. Burial in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Vander Wolde was born March 15, 1900, in The Netherlands and came to the United States at the age of 17.

He married Harriet Meedering Feb. 16, 1939 at Doon. They lived in Steen, MN. Hull, Ripon, Calif. and Sioux Center. She died Aug. 7, 1981

Survivors include three brothers Everett of The Netherlands, Albert of Hills, MN. and Ed of Sheldon; and one sister, Jessie Boeve of Pipestone, MN.
