Lonnie Dean Wielenga, 19, of Orange City died Sunday in a Sioux City hospital as a result of injuries received in a one-car accident Wednesday 2 1/2 miles south of Sheldon.

Services were at 10am Wednesday in the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Thomas Vanden Heuvel officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City under the direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mr. Wielenga was born June 9, 1960, at Orange City and was a student at Northwest Iowa Technical College at Sheldon at the time of his death.

He was a baptized member of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Wielenga of Orange City, one brother, Brad and one sister, Sandy, both at home.
