Priscilla was the daughter of Arie and Anna (Groot) Jonker. She was the youngest of six children. She attended a country school, walking a mile each way.

As an adult, she was a telephone operator for ten years, until being replaced by the dial system. She then spent abut six years in Minneapolis. Priscilla returned to Orange City where she was employed in a custom drapery shop.

Ten years ago she became a resident of the Pioneer Home in Orange City, where she passed away.

Miss Jonker was a member of Redeemer United Reformed Church. She enjoyed traveling throughout her lifetime. She visited 48 of the 50 states and Canada, and she made several trips to Europe.

Survivors inclde two sisters-in-law, Bertha Doctor of Orange City; am Carrie Jonker of Mesa Arizona; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Henry, August, Jacob "Jake" and Clarence Jonker; and a sister, Katherine Vink.
