Marie Vink, 77, of Rock Valley died Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999 at Fellowship Village at Inwood Ia.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. Gordon Bloemendaal officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed. with the family present 7-8 p.m.at the Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley.

Mrs. Vink was born June 19, 1921, at Rock Valley, the daughter of Klaas and Kendrika (Beek) Verburg. She attended Rock Valley Christian Grade School and one year at Rock Valley Pulic High School.

She married Albert. J. Vink Aug. 20, 1942 near Hull. The couple farmed south of Rock Valley until 1990 when they retired and moved into Rock Valley. She moved to Fellowship Village Jan. 5, 1999.

Survivors include her husband; three sons and their wives, Gerald and Colleen of Anchorage, Alaska, Rodney and Bonnie of Woodbury, Minn. and Leroy and Florence of Rock Valley; eight grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters; three brothers and their wives, William and Gertrude Verburg of Primghar, Henry and Ann Verburg of Sheldon and Richard and Marian Verburg of Rock Valley, and a sister, Nellie Van Wyhe of Sioux Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
